RSU 20 update and Thank you!

Dear RSU 20 community,

 

As you may already know, we lost the RSU 20 bus garage to fire on Saturday afternoon.  Our buses were saved thanks to the fast thinking and actions of Ron Cook, one of our bus drivers and the Searsport Fire Department.  While the building and its contents are a complete loss we are thankful that no one was hurt.

 

We will continue to provide transportation services to our students as we plan for clean up and the next steps for rebuilding.  

 

We would like to thank the departments that responded in our time of need; Searsport, Stocking Springs, Prospect, Belfast and Bucksport Fire Departments and the number of local and state police.  We are so appreciative of their efforts.
